My time at Islamiyah brings many positive memories. It was friendly and welcoming environment where you were academically encouraged and a strong work ethic was instilled into you by the teachers. I achieved A* in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English lang, English Lit, Arabic, Psychology, Computer Science, and A’s in History, French, Religious Studies and Additional Maths.

I went on to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level (A*A*A), complete my medical degree and a Masters in Healthcare Ethics and Law at the University of Manchester – I am currently working as a doctor.

Throughout my education and career so far I ensure to keep Islam central in my day to day life. Being nurtured in an Islamic environment early on in my educational journey gave me the confidence to always prioritise faith and Islamic principles when stepping out into the world.

Reflecting on my time at Islamiyah, I am filled with gratitude for the positive experiences I had. It was a nurturing and inclusive environment where academic excellence was strongly encouraged, and the teachers instilled a deep sense of dedication and perseverance in us.

I left Islamiyah with level 9’s in the Sciences, Maths, English literature, History, level 8 in Citizenship, Level 7 in English language,

A* in RS and ICT, A in Arabic and

B in Psychology. I went onto to complete my A-Levels in Maths , Chemistry and Biology for which I attained A*A*A*.

I recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Leeds. Throughout my academic journey and now in my professional life, I continue to prioritise my faith and values, which were deeply rooted during my time at Islamiyah. This early emphasis on Islamic principles has given me the confidence to navigate the challenges of the modern world while staying true to my beliefs.

I attended Islamiyah Girls High school from 2015 to 2020. I left with level 9’s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, level 8’s in

English language, English Literature, RS, Further maths, Citizenship, level 7’s in Arabic and History , level 5 in Computer science and B in Psychology.

I then went on to complete my A-Levels at Tauheedul sixth form in Psychology, Chemistry and Biology for which I attained A*AA and I’m now in my third year of studying medicine at the University of Birmingham. I owe a huge part of my success to islamiyah. The constant support, encouragement, and dedication of the teachers not only allowed me to achieve my potential, but also gave me the confidence to pursue career in medicine. Alongside my medical degree, I am also memorising the Quran.

During my time at islamiyah I was provided with many opportunities which challenged me academically and helped shape me into the student I am today.

I am filled with immense gratitude and a deep sense of indebtedness to the staff at IGHS for their constant support and guidance. Their dedication helped me achieve level 9 in the Sciences, Maths, English Language, History, RS and Business, level 8 in Citizenship, English Literature, Arabic and a level 7 in Computer Science which laid the groundwork for my future success. I went on to study A-Levels in Sociology, Chemistry and Biology for which I attained A*AA and I’m now proceeding to study Medicine at Edge Hill University.

Alongside my studies, I also memorized the Quran, which by far is my greatest accomplishment.

My time at high school was really positive and it set me up well for the future. The supportive teachers and great learning environment at IGHS helped me to excel in all aspects of my life. Throughout my journey, the strong foundation in faith and values that I built at Islamiyah has continued to guide me. Prioritising my deen and the Quran played a big role in my success, giving me the focus and discipline I needed.
