Other Needs

At times, students may require additional support to help them through specific short-term challenges. For example, a student who has experienced the bereavement of a close family member or friend may need extra emotional support. In such circumstances, our pastoral and safeguarding teams work closely with the student, their family, and, where appropriate, external agencies to ensure the right support is in place. This helps students manage their wellbeing while continuing to engage positively with their learning.

For some students, difficulties at home or other external factors may impact attendance, behaviour, or engagement in school. Where this occurs, the school provides targeted and intensive support to address these challenges, working in partnership with families and relevant professionals. Our aim is to ensure that every student receives the support they need to overcome barriers and continue to succeed academically and personally.
