Lancashire Careers Hub is a collaboration of 162 secondary schools and colleges across the whole region who work together to deliver the Gatsby benchmarks. Collaborating with business partners, the public, education and voluntary sectors, they help improve careers outcomes for young people.
Created in collaboration with your Careers Hub, this platform includes meaningful local labour market information as well as information about local education and training provision.
Blackburn and Darwen employment, skills and support hub
This organisation offers comprehensive support to help individuals find a job suited to their skills and interests. They provide assistance with retraining and upskilling to enhance career opportunities. Additionally, they offer guidance on application and interview preparation to boost success rates. Their services also focus on building confidence and overcoming personal barriers, all aimed at improving future prospects and helping individuals achieve their career goals.
New directions careers service
New Directions Career Service is dedicated to ensuring that young people with special educational needs or disabilities are engaged in employment, education, or training after the age of 16. They provide direct support to young people up to the age of 19 by offering information, advice, and guidance on all post-16 opportunities. Additionally, they assist young people in accessing and engaging with suitable provisions to help them successfully transition into their next steps.

To support their Skills and Employment stakeholders, local authority colleagues, and wider partners, they have developed a data pack that provides the latest available data covering various skills, employment, and socio-economic themes.
