GCSE Results
Students and staff at Islamiyah Girls’ High School (IGHS) are celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results, upholding the school’s strong tradition of high academic achievement.
This year’s cohort has demonstrated tremendous commitment, achieving impressive results with 94% of pupils attaining a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths, and a fantastic 68% achieving the strong Grade 5 or higher in these core subjects. We are also delighted that 65% of students achieved the English Baccalaureate, securing strong passes (Grade 5+) in five subjects, including English and Maths.
These outstanding results ensure that Islamiyah High School continues to rank among the top-performing schools in Blackburn.
